I just love the Old Olive and Pretty Peacock color
combination and that was the inspiration for these next 2 cards. I’m still enjoying the clean and simple
design style and the Winter Woods stamp set works well for this.
I used Whisper White card stock for the base (thick)
and 1st layer (3 ¾” x 5 ½”).
I ran the layer through the Big Shot using the Brick and Mortar 3D
Embossing folder. I placed a ½” x 5 ½”
piece of Old Olive Noble Peacock Foil Sheet on each long edge of the embossed
layer. I cut out the largest Oval from
the Stitched Shapes dies and stamped the top of the large tree from the Winter
Woods stamp set onto it using Old Olive and Pretty Peacock Classic Stamp pads. I stamped the sentiment using the Itty Bitty
Christmas stamp set and Pretty Peacock ink.
I glued Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon to the back of the stitched
oval and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card layer. To finish
it off, I added Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the front card layer.
This second card is very similar, but I used the
Woodland Embossing folder for the background card layer.
