The Monster Bash Suite from the Stampin' Up ® Holiday Catalog is so cool!! I am
loving it and have been having fun making great Halloween cards. Here is another card using this great suite.
I used Basic Black cardstock for the card base (8 ½” x
5 ½”, folded in half).
I took a 3 ¾” x 5” Basic Black piece of cardstock and
tapped it with Wink of Stella.
I layered a 3” x 4 ¼” piece of Monster Bash
Designer Series Paper onto a 3 3/8” x 4 ¼” piece of Soft Suede cardstock. I attached this to the 3 ¾” x 5” cardstock piece
and tied Cajun Craze Linen Thread around it.
I then attached this to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped Dracula from the Monster Bash stamp
set using Memento Black Ink and colored him in with the Cajun Craze
Dark Stampin’ Blend (you could also use a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write
Marker). I cut him out using the Ornate
Frames Dies and also cut the Ornate Frame die background out of Basic
Black card stock and glued these pieces together.
I inked the back of a Pearlized Doily with Memento
Black ink and layered Dracula onto it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then glued
the doily & Dracula onto the Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the BE Scary part of the Eat, Drink & BE
Scary stamp using Memento Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock,
cut it out, and attached it to the front of the card with a Stampin
Dimensional.
I think you can get a better view of the Wink of Stella (barely!) below:
