I love the Come Sail Away Suite of products and the
cool nautical theme that makes creating masculine cards so easy! This card was
inspired by Angela Meiritz-Reid from the 2019 Artisan team. She used the laser cut specialty card with
the rope design from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack with our
White Embossing Paste on her cards and I loved this idea!
My card base is a Whisper White Note Card. I embossed the laser cut rope card with Clear
Stampin’ Emboss Powder so I could use it as a stencil for future projects. I mixed a couple drops of Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’
Ink Refill into White Embossing Paste and smoothed it over the laser cut rope
stencil onto my card front. While this was drying, I
stamped the sailboat and sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock using
Night of Navy ink and cut these out using the Big Shot and the Smooth Sailing
Dies. I also die cut the steering wheel
and rope piece out of Night of Navy Cardstock.
I used the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to spritz the card
front. Stampin Dimensionals were used to
adhere the sail boat, steering wheel and sentiment onto the card front and Multipurpose
Liquid Glue was used to adhere the rope to the left side of the card.
