I needed a quick birthday card for my great niece for
Sunday. I had pinned a really cool card that
Stephanie Droop designed for the Global Design Team earlier this year and that is what inspired
my card! I will definitely use this cool, clean layout in the future.
I used the Above the Clouds stamp set for the hot air
balloon, the Stitched All Around stamp set for the sentiment, and the
Waterfront stamp set for the background speckles. The cool frame is made using the stitched
rectangles. I embossed the hot air
balloon with Black Embossing Powder, punched it out with the Hot Air Balloon
Punch, used the Sponge Brayers to color the balloon with Costal Cabana and
Highland Heather ink. I added the flags
to the balloon using Memento Black ink. Holiday
Rhinestones, Noble Peacock Rhinestones and Rose Metallic Thread were added to
embellish the card.
